Pro Facials Guide

Face it, not everyone’s skin asks for the same thing, what might work for your friend could do nothing for your skin and vice versa. So we put together a facials guide so you won’t get confused with the best treatment for you, and once you have it set continue treatment advised by professionals.

Microdermabrasion Facial

This is the best way to get rid of layers upon layers of dead skin built up in the winter,  for skin goals of a healthy glow. Along with dead skin, this type of facial removes dark spots deeply exfoliates the skin, helps reduce acne scars, reduces the appearance of pores and makes your skin super soft.

Chemical Peels

A chemical solution is applied to the skin in order to remove any dark sunspots, smooth fine lines and rejuvenate the skin. Once applied, the chemical solution eventually peels off, leaving your skin feeling smoother than ever. Best to do this facial in the winter when you won’t be exposed to direct sun, however, you should wear your SPF regardless during the day after peels. Check with your dermatologists to find out which chemical peels are best for you.

Hydrafacial

It’s your one-stop-shop for clear skin, suitable for any age. The deep cleansing hydrafacial hydrates, detoxifies, extracts and exfoliates all in one session. The device used during this facial helps reduce pore size, smooth out fine lines, improves elasticity and firmness, corrects hyperpigmentation, and evens out skin tone.

Dermaplaning Facial

With this facial, you’ll be going under the knife… literally. This facial involves using a scalpel to remove hair (like peach fuzz), but more importantly, it removes a layer of dead skin cells. It’s a great way to exfoliate and brighten the skin. But don’t worry, it might look scary, but it is virtually painless. Beware that your skin may be extra sensitive to sunlight once the facial is complete. In order to avoid any irritation, it’s recommended to wear sunscreen for protection and keep the makeup minimal days later.
