How to Naturally Heal a Sunburn

Nothing can ruin your summer more than a painful sunburn. And while we all understand the importance of sun protection, excess sunshine can still get the better of us. Get Out Of The Sun

This one may seem to be very obvious, however, the importance of it should not be overlooked. If you have even a mild sunburn, with continued sun exposure it can then develop into a second-degree burn and form blisters which may need medical attention. If you need to be outdoors, make sure to wear loose and baggy clothes to allow your skin to breathe. 

Cold Compress

For immediate sunburn relief, a cold compress is your best at-home solution. The same way that ice can soothe a thermal burn, it will do the same for a sunburn. Simply take a pack of ice and make sure to wrap it in a towel before applying to your skin. Wrapping the ice in a towel is a very crucial step, putting ice directly onto sunburned skin is not recommended.
